whoopsydaisy..

Left hand spiral
Right hand twist
whats a little change in direction amongst friends?

Apparently a lot, as we had drilled all the tube ribs at 64.4 degrees in the wrong direction. :(
live and learn
hopefully
tomorrow back to the drill press to recalculate,
and perhaps to test a few before we go crazy.

though there seems to be a bit of dissent amongst the troops as to the structural integrity without some vertical supports.

TA at the Princeton Internship Fair

Bryan and Graham manned the battle station at the Princeton Internship Fair.

The duo is searching for interns to explore the many TA projects this spring and summer, from enrichment workshop programs to continuing development of the B Home.

Donations from Rio Grande. Thanks, guys!

Hey, everyone. It's Tucker, back from another hiatus to let you guys know about the goings on of the shop as of late. Since the raw sewage incident, we've been keeping ourselves busy with a few projects. We got a commission for a FireBowl, a FireScreen with the possibility of a second one to follow, and some shiny new jewelry, courtesy of Rio Grande ( http://www.riogrande.com/ ) and their generous donation to the Atelier. Aside from that, we had Graham and Bryan go to Ignite Princeton 2, an event for people around the area to express their ways to make their communities better. They brought the B-Home to Princeton in 5 minutes flat, and were greeted with a fairly warm reception.

That's about all for me, folks. Have a good day, and stop in soon for more updates.

Icky Plumbing, Fairwell C30, and The Massive Screen continues

The plumbing took an unforntunate turn - a clog upstairs resulted in the shower bubbling up.

[[posterous-content:pid___0]]

Bryan went to work un-screwing the main line end cap and emptying out the nastiness.

[[posterous-content:pid___1]]

Created a ramod/clog catcher.

[[posterous-content:pid___2]]

[[posterous-content:pid___12]]

It wasn't pretty.

Then Bryan continued work on the massive FireScreen

Sadly, the Pickup had to go...

Slip Slidin on Allen & Hogarty

Today a rather large tractor trailer got stuck outside the workshop while making a turn onto Allen Street from Hogarty Alley.

Pete lent a helping hand in directing oncoming traffic away from the area.
